All these characters had become familiar friends. The descriptions of the settings were so real bringing back the summers I spent on this section of the Maine coast. She is excellent at developing the personalities of her characters, saving some surprises until later in the story. In fact, I think there are story lines still to be pursued on Three Sisters Island.
